The US Dollar, mind you. [Transcript of video follows]
[1:54] Andrei Martyanov: "So, let's get to our goats, so to speak. And let's start talking about what is going on."
"In terms of the military sitrep, first, there is the alternative reality of the western media that do not know what they are talking about. They just push the agenda, and obviously trying to cover a serious butt-hurt on the part of many western elites who have been shown how you conduct a humanitarian operation by demolishing a military machine and then trying to handle their civilians in the most soft and most caring manner."
But, in terms of Mariupol which is the key port and key industrial center on the Sea of Azov, LDNR and Russian forces are now inside Mariupol and they are fighting their way down what is now Victory Avenue, which is close to the center of Mariupol. Of course Mariupol is wholesale being held hostage by the nazi forces. But this is going fairly well. And people have to be constantly reminded that Ukraine is just one of the links in a long chain of events which the United States unleashed in its total war on Russia.
And they have to understand that whatever Russians do in Ukraine, apart from the obvious issue of demolishing the kiev-regime military machine -- which has pretty much been demolished by now -- all the resistance concentrated in cities and the mopping up goes on as I talk to you now. But you have to understand that modern Ukraine is no more. And the political regime that is represented by the President of Ukraine, Zelenski, a clown by occupation no less, and that whatever Zelenski says, he doesn't say it on his behalf or on behalf of whatever the government in Ukraine is, or wherever it is. It is all conveying the position of the United States."
"The United States got used to fighing proxies. It cannot fight a peer because it would be annihilated and its armed forces destroyed. But, hey, here's Zelensky, here's his regime. And there was a very remarkable change of tone on Zelensky's part today. Prior to this he was sending -- not he, really, he isn't what people say now and I tend to believe them -- he is residing now in the U.S. embassy in Poland. But the point is, those negotiating people who have been sent to talk to Russians in Belarus about their changes and humanitarian corridors and whatever Russian demands are, they have mostly been obviously there obfuscating the issues and pulling the finger and trying to kill as much time as they could, because whenever there are negotiations about humaniarian corridors, you have what is called the Regime of Silence and the Russians stop their offensive.
[5:20] "Well, prior to this, Zelenski was very very radical in his denial of any kind of ultimatum and Russian demands. Well, guess what? Today the tone changed. Dramatically, actually. Zelenski suddenly says that while, yeah, I'm still against all those ultimatums but I'm ready to talk. I want to negotiate. And I want to negotiate from the point of view of recognizing no less the LDNR and Donbass republics, recognizing Crimea as belonging to Russia -- and get that -- he is obviously, as he said, he is very much cooled down towards NATO membership. Well, that is one of the major positions and demands of the Russian ultimatum. Ukraine will exist only as a neutral state. Only as a neutral nation. Or it will not exist at all as a country.
"So, read Zelensky's lips, so to speak. This is not him talking. He is nobody. He is a puppet. It is the United States talking. And there is a reason the United States wants to talk this way. And there is a definite change of position, so to speak. The reason being, as you already know, Los Angeles already has premium gas selling for $5.55 a gallon. And that's just a warm-up. Elsewhere, as the gasoline prices grow -- and make no mistake -- this will be blamed on Russia. But, of course, the situation with Ukraine, and the facts are incredibly accelerating."
"It's mind-boggling. I never saw anything like this. The destruction of the U.S. Dollar-based economic system is astounding. I have to admit. Even the collapse of the Soviet Union was somewhat different, and I lived through it. Through the war in the Soviet Union. So it was stunning. But what we are observing right now is a complete accelerating implosion of the dollar system. And we probably have to consider the fact that this is due partially to the United States not being really governable due to the many cliques and lobbyist groups vying for influence and control of the United States. But also due to the fact that the United States is basically ruined.
[8:08] "Not in the sense that there is no Wall Street and no money. The United States can print money. But the main issue is that the United States, of course, decided to block imports of Russian oil to the United States. It's not a big amount and it really doesn't affect Russia that much. But it is going to project a sense of urgency and sense of chaos in commodity markets. And commodity markets are the most important markets. Not financial markets. Make no mistake. Commodities. That's what really matters."
[8:46] Now the United States wants to beat the Europeans into utter submission and for them to block the deliveries of Russian hydrocarbons. And Mr Novak, the Minister of Energy of Russia said, fairly nonchalantly actually, Well, if Europe wants $300 per barrel of oil it will get it. I mean, come on. The Russians also say, 'Yeah, we can shut down Nord Stream One, if they really insist.' And so Europe is in a little bit of a panic, let me put it this way -- Well, the United States, too, actually -- evidently, based on their false narrative, which I have been writing about for years, about the actual importance and size of the Russian economy, their knee-jerk reaction, their very emotional one, and Russophobia runs really high in Europe especially. There is some in the United States, but Europe is absolutely Russophobic."
"They begin to understand that if they really want that, Russia will close those deliveries. And guess what is going to happen. Europe is going to descend into complete social chaos immediately because it is based on the economy which is not sustainable."
[10:15] "It is already not sustainable the way it is, especially for Germany. Now, what does the United States want for itself? Well, that is another interesting issue. I don't think that the United States completely grasps the gravity of the situation. Because, as I already stated in the last video, and it was well-known, India, an economic and demographic giant in the Eurasian sub-continent, they already want Russia and India to trade in rubles and rupees. Now Turkey wants to use Lira and Rubles in their trade with Russia. Then we have China with its stance. And if you look around and, gosh, this is the end of the U.S.-Dollar."
I have to admit, I never saw such a circus in my life. Utter suicidal madness.
